Improve some of the database setups to enable

  • Truncate data sent to the dashboard (how to handle if there is several GB of data in the dashboard)
  • Set custom interpolation per variable
  • Set custom names for variables
  • Treat “all” speccially in the country/region/grouping such that “all” means that it will be used for all country/region/groupings and not need to send duplicate information
  • Track the state of the simulations and predictions better

API restructuring

Effects Calculation Flexibility

Update the interface to create effects calculations one can calculate the effect of a specific data set for a model, and store the different effect calculations one can go back and compare them without activating it in the main effect dashboard.

It will also allow a “merged” view of effects calculations to be shown in the effects dashboard. The reason for this is that as new data gets added and new models get trained, we don’t want historical learnings to change.

Even though the user experience is a continuous evolution, we have collected a series of tweaks around the platform that would improve the user experience in small ways. But a lot of small improvements will hopefully result in a big improvement in the user experience. Some of the improvements include

  • Breadcrumbs for better navigation
  • Track what user triggered the action (ran the simulation, built the model, …)
