Observer

Access Level: Basic
Permissions:

  • View Dashboards: Observers can view and explore all dashboards, allowing them to stay informed about the project’s progress and insights.

Who It’s For:
Perfect for team members who need to stay updated on key metrics and outcomes without engaging in active data manipulation or model development.

Member

Access Level: Intermediate
Permissions:

  • View Dashboards: Access all dashboards.
  • Simulate, Predict, and Optimize: Members can use simulation tools, make predictions, and leverage optimization features to explore different scenarios.

Who It’s For:
Ideal for users who actively engage with the data to forecast outcomes and experiment with different strategies, but do not need to manage or manipulate the underlying data.

Data Manager

Access Level: Advanced
Permissions:

  • All Member Permissions: Includes dashboard access, simulation, prediction, and optimization features.
  • Manage Data: Data Managers can upload, update, and manage datasets, ensuring that the right data is available for analysis and model development.

Who It’s For:
Best suited for users responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data within the system.

Model Developer

Access Level: Expert
Permissions:

  • All Data Manager Permissions: Includes managing data and all Member functionalities.
  • Build Models: Model Developers have the capability to create, train, and refine AI models, driving the core analytical capabilities of the platform.
  • Who It’s For:
    This role is designed for data scientists and AI specialists who are tasked with developing and refining the models that power Alviss AI.

Manager

Access Level: Leadership
Permissions:

  • All Model Developer Permissions: Includes building models and all preceding roles’ functionalities.
  • Activate Models: Managers can activate models, making them the default for the project, which impacts all subsequent analyses and predictions.
  • Change Project Defaults: Managers can alter project settings, including which models and data sets are used as default.

Who It’s For:
Managers are typically team leaders or project owners responsible for overseeing the overall strategy, ensuring that the right models and data are being used to guide decision-making.

Admin

Access Level: Full Control
Permissions:

  • All Manager Permissions: Includes all the capabilities of a Manager.
  • Manage Users: Admins have the authority to add, remove, and manage user roles within the team, controlling who has access to different parts of the platform.

Admins are usually the team or organization’s top-level managers, responsible for overseeing the entire project and managing team access and permissions.
